A rockin’ good show from Red Rocks in this week’s episode of The Dead Zone. For this week’s installment on JEMP Radio, we gave you all of Set 2, a bright, solid rocker all the way. The band sounded tight from “China/Rider” straight through “Lovelight.” “Drums/Space” was ample, but not extensive, and we got a Brent vocal on “Dear Mr. Fantasy.”  The standout for me in this set was the short but unusual version of “The Other One,” stripped down and featuring a heavily flanged vocal for Bobby. Plus, it’s one of the best-quality recordings I’ve heard that wasn’t a commercial release. Cool stuff. The first set was no slouch either. Enjoy!
